This policy explains how ESIMAP LTD ("ESIMAP", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data through this website. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

ESIMAP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16699298, registered office 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. We are registered as a data controller with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZC209661.

What we collect
This is a pre-launch information website. We collect only a small amount of data:
- Information you send us. If you contact us or register your interest, we receive your name, email address, organisation and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data, and this site is not directed at children.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss ESIMAP with you. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and in developing our business.
- To keep the website secure and operational. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in protecting our systems.
- Where you have asked to be kept updated, to send you occasional updates about ESIMAP. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, including our website host and our email provider. We may disclose data if required by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the UK's approved transfer safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision) to protect your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and interest data for as long as needed to deal with your request and our ongoing relationship, and then delete it. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@esimap.com.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data. We would ask you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
Changes
We may update this policy as ESIMAP develops. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
